About Kay

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in helping elementary students master mathematics through personalized support. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504), allowing me to adapt my methods to fit your child's unique needs. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to real-world interests, I foster both confidence and a genuine love for learning. I prioritize clear communication with families to ensure we are working as a collaborative team. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop, I am dedicated to celebrating every small success along the way. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is truly the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey.
