About Kayleigh

I most recently worked in Child Welfare working with children in foster care in out-of-home placements. I have worked with teens ages 14-18 in a residential mental health setting and have knowledge and experience with mental health crises, as well as difficult behaviors. I have taken various courses on human development across the lifespan, and working with adolescents and families in a theraputic setting. My courses have also highlighted the importance of focusing on building resilience in adolescents, as well as positive developmental needs, and evidence-based skills to help adolescents regulate emotions, and build positive relationships with parents and other caregivers/mentors. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and spending time with my younger sisters.
