About Kayla

Hi! I'm a University of Miami graduate with a bachelor's degree in Health Science and minors in Public Health and Psychology. I completed my degree on the pre-medical track, recently took the MCAT, and plan to apply to medical school next year. I currently work part-time as a medical assistant in dermatology, where I've gained extensive experience working closely with patients and helping people feel comfortable and supported. I'm patient, caring, dependable, and enjoy breaking down confusing information into smaller, easier-to-understand steps. I'm especially interested in helping elementary, middle and high school students with homework, general science and biology, study skills, organization, and test preparation. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can build confidence in their schoolwork.
