About Wendy

I am a certified Florida educator with more than 31 years of experience in education and a master's degree in reading. I currently serve as a Director of Curriculum at a Palm Beach County charter school. Throughout my career, I have worked as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, district resource teacher, and school administrator. I provide individualized tutoring for elementary students in reading, comprehension, writing, math, and science. Reading and literacy are my specialties, and I especially enjoy helping struggling readers strengthen their foundational skills, improve their comprehension, and become more confident learners. Every child learns differently, so I tailor each tutoring session to the student's individual academic needs. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping every student make progress and experience success.
