About Kayla

Hi! I'm Kayla -- a former 3rd grade teacher, theatre graduate, and current Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's student at Marquette. I've taught stand-up, improv, and acting to kids, adults, and seniors, and I love using humor, creativity, and storytelling to support wellness and memory. I'm passionate about working with older adults and bringing joy, structure, calm, and connection into their daily routines. My caregiving style is warm, patient, and engaging. I meet people where they are, offer gentle redirection when needed, and create meaningful activities that support comfort, confidence, and cognitive stimulation. I believe aging should be met with dignity, laughter, and good company.
