About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I've worked in childcare for over 4 years. I was a teacher's assistant for 3 years at the YMCA Early Education Center with infants through preschoolers and four years as a camp counselor. I am outgoing, caring, creative, and patient and I genuinely love building strong connections with every child I meet. I enjoy engaging kids through fun, active experiences like nature walks, swimming, and reading, and I am always looking for ways to help them grow and explore. Working with children is something I'm truly passionate about and I love being apart of their development and growth. I'm trained in First Aid and CPR, and I bring strong childcare skills, such as conflict resolution, clear communication, positive reinforcement, emotional support, and safety awareness, to every situation ensuring each child is in a safe, loving environment.
