About Kayla

For the past 10+ years, I've been passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I am a fully certified teacher with two Master's degrees in Special Education and Multicultural Education. I have a plethora of experience in the classroom and online. I believe every student can achieve their goals with personalized support, building confidence, and fostering a love for learning. I adapt my teaching by actively listening to students and varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. To keep students motivated, I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate successes, and break down complex problems. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents and build a collaborative environment. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I'm available to tutor at your home or online in all subjects!
