About Kayla

I cared for my own grandmother for 8 years and was the her main companion with meals, walks, and errands including taking her to get her hair cut, nails done, and the occasional shopping trip with her friends. I was in charge of checking her medication, doing her laundry, all housekeeping, and occasionally helped bathe and dress her when she didn't have a full-time caregiver. She had macular degeneration, which made her sight quite limited, she also had a walker and could not walk without it most of the time. I was not paid for caring her, as she was family, but I do have a lot of experience caring for and spending time with the elderly and really enjoy the work.
