About Kayla

Hello! My name is Kayla and I've been working with kids from all ages for years now. I am experienced in everything from babysitting to tutoring, and love to help kids in any way I can. My approach is always kindness and communication comes first! I'd describe my personality as kind, funny, and adaptable. I like tutoring because it brings me joy to help students become independent and believe in themselves academically. I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring my own approach and that values the power of consistency and communication. I started tutoring when my little sister needed help on her homework. Then I started working on professionally and I never looked back. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, and spend time with my sisters. One thing you should know about me is that I believe in reward systems! My skills include elementary math, reading, and social studies.
