About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, I'm 20, and I'm planning to go back to school for elementary education. I'm currently a behavioral technician and love my job working with children. I'm also CPR certified. I'm the oldest of 20 cousins, so I have lots of experience caring for children, especially those early elementary age and younger. I'm very patient, and have experience working with children with special needs. I'm hands-on and enjoy engaging with kids in whatever they're interested in--whether it's playing outside, singing songs, doing puzzles, or just watching a cartoon. I aim to create a fun and supportive environment that follows the child's lead. I'm available mainly in the mornings and evenings Monday through Friday, and I'm flexible to take on extra hours when possible. While I do have some time blocks that aren't open during the day, I communicate clearly and make sure scheduling works smoothly for both the family and me. I am also available on one weekend day. Saturdays are better.
