About Kaya

Kaya was available last minute after my normal sitter got COVID and she was able to drop in and care for my Frenchie while I was away for work for 3.5 days. I appreciated her jumping right in. Kaya is also responsive and replies almost immediately. However, there were several reoccurring issues while she was watching over my dog. The main one being the lack of adherence to his visitation (feeding/potty) schedule which was outlined in the job post as well as texted to her and agreed upon. This was super important for me because he was on antibiotic. Another issue was the lack of proactive communication. I requested daily updates of how my dog was doing as well as when she would be dropping in & leaving. She did let me know when she was heading over but was not consistent with telling me when she was leaving or coming back unless I explicitly asked. Overall, Kaya seems like a very friendly, easy going sitter and would be better suited for someone who doesn't need or want much communication and whose pet has a more flexible schedule.
