About Kaya

With 7+ years of experience working with children and families, I bring a warm, patient, and dependable approach to every family I work with. I have a graduate degree in International Communication Studies as well as experience tutoring elementary-aged children, which has strengthened my ability to communicate thoughtfully and support each child's individual needs. I'm comfortable maintaining routines, enforcing household rules, and communicating with parents in whatever way works best for your family. I love keeping children engaged through age appropriate activities and play tailored to their interests. As a former swim instructor, I'm also comfortable providing attentive swimming supervision. Safety is always a priority, and I hold up-to-date Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. I'm also happy to help with children's meals, light housekeeping, and pets.
