Hi I'm Kawia! I have lots of experience with adults ranging from different ages to different needs including alzheimer's and dememntia. I am a person who thinks that care-giving is more than just a "job". I am someone who loves and care for people as if they were they were my own family . In addition I can take the dog out, I have a reliable car, I'm comfortable with being around pets, and I'm a non-smoke. I have my CPR certification, COVID vaccine, I attend ODU for Pre-Med, and I am also a NCP at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. I have prior experience starting from the age of 13 from taking care of my mother when she was first diagnosed with Lupus, from there I became a CNA at 18, then I applied to ODU for Pre-Med 3 years ago, my expected graduation date is December 2024.

Kawia is friendly, professional, and punctual. She went above and beyond helping my dad with dementia and house cleaning chores! She did a great job keeping up with my father's random movements and ensuring he didn't fall! Dad was still slightly medicated after being released from the hospital so he was all over the place, but Kawia handled it perfectly! Kawia also provided me with dementia tips and knowledge because this is a new health stage for my family and I. Overall, I recommend hiring Kawia!
