About Katy

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support drives my work as a Certified teacher. With 10 years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's learning style by observing how they interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to real-world interests to keep engagement high. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building the trust necessary for academic success. Whether we are tackling Science, English, or study skills at the library, I find it incredibly rewarding to help students reach their goals. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your child thrive and discover the joy of academic growth.
