About Katie

I am a 33-year-old educator with a passion for helping elementary and middle school students reach their full potential in math, English, and study skills. With 90 credit hours completed toward my bachelor's degree in education, I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence and develop a genuine love for learning. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students by using visual, discussion-based, and hands-on teaching approaches. By breaking challenging concepts into manageable steps and connecting lessons to students' interests, I help learners gain a deeper understanding of the material while fostering confidence in their abilities. My goal is to empower every student to grow academically, believe in themselves, and experience success both inside and outside the classroom.
