About Katy

I have worked with kids and young adults for 11 years. I have been a youth career coach, mentor, caregiver, babysitter and worked for the school district as a severe special needs paraprofessional. I'd describe my personality as patient, caring and empathetic. I like working with kids because I enjoy their energy and capacity to learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding. I started working with kids for the State in 2014. as a youth career coach, I supported high schooler's academic and employment goals. In my spare time, I like to take photos, kayak, work with wood, and garden. One thing you should know about me is I will keep your family safe. I am a 20 year American Red Cross instructor. I teach CPR, AED and First Aid. My skills include diaper changing, working with severe needs kids, and safety.
