About Jennifer

I am an empty nester for 2 children ages 19 and 22 who are out in the world changing it every day! I am a single artist with no demands on my time. I have a fine art degree and 4 years of experience running programs at overnight summer camps and counseling. I worked with infants at my children's Montessori school and was a leader on the Parent Teacher committee. I believe that the key to success with children is being fully present with them. Keeping them engaged and stimulated when they have energy and creating a calm soothing environment when rest is needed. I believe that understanding the parenting philosophy and making sure to reflect it when caring for children is something many people don't think about. However just as Mom, Dad and family need to provide a united front in parenting, so do outside caregivers. I have a youthful bubbly personality and 52 years of life experience.
