About Katrina

I am a very energetic, nurturing, multi-tasked former nanny (currently Pre-K teacher who is a mom myself; my kiddos are older). I have my bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have a strong passion for caring for children and taking part in helping families raise them. I have 10 years professional childcare experience; my nanny journey began when I started working as a nanny for a family with five children (ages 2, 3, 7, 8 & 10) and I was with this awesome bunch for four years. In addition to regular child care duties, I performed housekeeping, cooking, homework help & provide "home recess" outside for the kiddos on a regular basis. I truly love all children, enjoy nurturing little ones and believe every moment is a teachable one, as education is extremely important to me. I also have experience working with children with both basic and severe behavior issues (severely emotionally disturbed). I am very skilled/experienced at caring for/nurturing infants.
