About Katlin

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience, I specialize in Art, History, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. I favor a hands-on, project-based approach, connecting complex concepts to real-world examples to keep learning engaging. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--whether through visual aids or discussions--to suit your individual style. I prioritize clear communication with families to build a collaborative environment where every small success is celebrated. Since I have experience supporting students through challenging material, I focus on breaking down problems into manageable steps to build your confidence. Seeing you master new skills and grow as a learner is what I find most rewarding, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
