About Katie

I am graduating from the UOCB in 5/26 with bachelor's degrees in Psychology (summa cum laude) and Sociology, along with a certificate in Health, Care & Resilience, minor in Leadership Studies, Newton Leadership Fellow micro-credential, and pre-law declaration. In fall 2026, I begin my online MSW at UCCS in the child welfare track as a Colorado Child Welfare Scholars Consortium Scholar. I bring strong tutoring, mentoring, teaching, and research experience. I tutored psychology students through Psi Chi (9/25-4/26), mentored undergraduates through AMPN (9/24-4/26), and served as a Teaching Assistant in College Writing and Rhetoric (8/25-12/25). I also supported first-generation and low-income students through TRIO (6/24-8/25), and assisted on doctoral research examining how TA support shapes undergraduate academic experiences and outcomes (11/24-4/25). I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen skills, and succeed academically.
