About Erin

I have over 10 years experience as a Public School Teacher. I've taught Pre K 4, Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 5th grade Math and Science. I have developed and implemented curriculum for after school programs for grades 5-8. As a tutor I have worked with students in grades Kindergarten to college. I am amazing at helping struggling readers learn to LOVE reading, helping children understand how numbers work (not just how to 'do math), helping older students organize/revise/publish written work. For older students I help reinforce reading strategies for retention, tutor HS Algebra I and II, History, and English (Reading/Writing). I also tutor ESL. While I am not certified for a classroom most of experience is in inner cities, the majority of my classes were ESL inclusion classrooms. I've also taught Adult Education ESL. At the college level I act as a writing coach, together we create an outline, research the topic, revise and edit the paper. I DO NOT WRITE PAPERS FOR YOU.
