About Katie

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With five years of teaching experience, I create a patient, engaging environment where you feel supported as you master new skills. I assess your unique learning style by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to ensure our sessions resonate with you. When concepts become challenging, I connect them to your personal interests and celebrate every small success to keep your momentum high. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is essential for tracking progress and setting expectations. Watching your confidence grow as you develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to building a supportive rapport with you and making our learning journey truly enjoyable.
