About Katie

I am a recent graduate from Texas State University with a degree in Education, Exercise Sports Science, and Health Communication. This fall, I will be starting my career as a PE teacher in Austin ISD. I have over three years of experience working with children through the YMCA's afterschool care program, where I led engaging activities and ensured a safe, supportive environment. My background in education and passion for working with kids make me a reliable and energetic babysitter, let me know when you're available and I would love to talk about your schedule and what you expect for a summer sitter! I'd describe my personality as Organized, Outgoing, Nurturing I like working with kids because their voice and ideas matter. I did infant work with my church in High School, and started getting into elementary and middle school age with YMCA through coaching and summer camps. In my spare time, I like to cook, swim, watch TV, and play with my 2 cats, Jack and Daisy.
