About Katie

Hi! I am experienced mom and a former public school teacher. My most recent job was as a children's librarian assistant at a busy public library where I designed and implemented programs for kids ages 0-10 and supervised students in grades 5-12. I am currently working as a PT nanny for a local family (driving kids to after school activities and cooking dinners) but I am looking for additional opportunities. I have availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. My background: I have 3 decades of experience working with and supervising kids of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings. I have a M. Ed. from UNH and was a NH certified Special Education teacher and a NH and MA certified Social Studies teacher, and I taught 10th grade History for several years before having my own kids, after which I worked as a substitute teacher, then as a therapeutic horse riding instructor, and finally as a librarian assistant (which means I passed a full background check in 2024).
