About Shirley

I'd describe my personality as charismatic, joyful, patient, and understanding. I like working with kids because I love to teach them things, and enjoy watching them grow into who they are! Kids are free and silly, and being around them helps you to bring that out in yourself as an adult! I'm looking for a job that is local to Portsmouth NH, and with a family that is appreciative, kind, and is comfortable communicating with me their goals, needs, and expectations. I started working with kids when I graduated high school. I went to Plymouth State University and have a bachelors in science in physical education. Ive been a teacher for the past 8 years now working in schools with many different titles. I've taught physical education and health with kids as young as kindergarten to high school!
