About Katie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience supporting learners from elementary school through college, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I prioritize critical thinking and a growth mindset over simple memorization. By actively listening to how you interact with new material, I adapt my strategies--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussion--to fit your unique needs. I believe mistakes are essential tools for progress, and I strive to ensure you recognize that your worth extends far beyond a test score. Open communication is the foundation of our partnership, ensuring we stay aligned on your goals. Seeing you realize that you are inherently capable of mastering any challenge is what drives me to do this work. I am truly excited to help you grow.
