About Katie

I am a Riverside resident with my own car. I recently moved back to the area after completing my master's degree at Duke University! While in Durham, I cared for both children and pets. I first started working as a babysitter when I was in high school. Before that, I had experience helping care for children at a daycare. I also have experience as a summer camp counselor. One thing you should know about me as a caregiver is I am attentive to your child and their needs. People describe me as detail-oriented and caring. My skills include compassion, clear communication, and fun-loving. It is important to add that I take safety very seriously. I have never smoked, and I recently renewed my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross. My certification is valid until 7/20/26. In my spare time, I like to sing. I also enjoy cozy evenings reading books. I would be excited to talk with you about the opportunity to care for your children!
