About Katie

I first started working as a babysitter when I was in high school. Before that, I had experience helping care for children at a daycare. I also have experience as a summer camp counselor. I recently graduated from Duke with a master's degree! In my spare time, I like to sing. I also enjoy cozy evenings reading books. I grew up with dogs and wish I had one of my own. I currently care for cats and dogs around Durham and Chapel Hill. One thing you should know about me as a caregiver is I am attentive to your child and their needs. People describe me as detail-oriented and caring. My skills include compassion, clear communication, and fun-loving. I recently renewed my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross. My certification is valid until 7/20/26. I have never smoked. **I am available to work in the evenings and on weekends.** I'd be happy to help if you need a night out or to get some errands done without the kids.
