About Katie

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, bubbly, and patient. I like tutoring because I get to give individualised attention to help close gaps and misconceptions for students. I'm looking for a job that the learner is eager to achieve and grow as a scholar. I started tutoring when I was in high school when I volunteered at neighboring elementary schools in my area after school. I continued as I entered college and now as a certified teacher I tutor during the school year and during my summer breaks. In my spare time, I like to read novels, crochet blankets and travel whenever given the opportunity. One thing you should know about me is I am patient and believe that all students have the right to their education. My skills include identifying concept misconceptions, patience, and learner engagement.
