About Katie

I am a stay at home mama of two beautiful girls, ages 1 and 3! They are wonderful, high energy little humans who I feel so privileged to raise. We live on the greenbelt and have really just created our personal little oasis here in our home. We love tending to our garden, feeding deer out behind the greenbelt, and collecting creatures we find. Any opportunity to spend time outside, we are there. I do have a playroom area and crafting/lesson space that we spend time in as well. The girls enjoy helping prepare snacks, baking, and helping with small tasks around the home (this is an instinctual desire that children carry and love!) I practice gentle parenting (with appropriate boundaries) and believe play based care is the absolute best for young children. We engage in lots of hands on, messy sensory play and endless motor development through climbing, jumping, swinging and moving our bodies.
