Hey there! A little about me; I am a (fairly) recent Texas transplant. I am originally from Ohio, where I attended Ohio University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Global Cultural Studies. Post grad I worked at our county Children's Services in the visitation unit where I worked with children of all ages from varying backgrounds. Before moving to the Austin area, my fiancé and I lived in Wyoming where I was a nanny for a family with a wonderful little boy from the time he was about 2-12 months old. I am currently working full-time as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at an elementary school in Leander ISD, but I am looking to supplement my income a bit. I have been around kids for most of my life and I enjoy being creative, reading books, spending time outdoors, and doing fun activities! We love Helen! As a first timer with care.com and finding someone to help other than immediate family was very stressful, but she definitely put my momma anxiety at peace. She was wonderful with our two boys, especially my oldest who is on the spectrum. Gave them all the attention & care they needed, even our yorkie dog. We hope we get to use her again!
