About Helen

Hey there! A little about me; I am a (fairly) recent Texas transplant. I am originally from Ohio, where I attended Ohio University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Global Cultural Studies. Post grad I worked at our county Children's Services in the visitation unit where I worked with children of all ages from varying backgrounds. Before moving to the Austin area, my fiancé and I lived in Wyoming where I was a nanny for a family with a wonderful little boy from the time he was about 2-12 months old. I am currently working full-time as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at an elementary school in Leander ISD, but I am looking to supplement my income a bit. I have been around kids for most of my life and I enjoy being creative, reading books, spending time outdoors, and doing fun activities! I am happy to help out with housework, I am a pretty decent cook, and I am pretty easygoing. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions for me, I hope we get to speak soon!
