About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie , and I'm a recent graduate of Georgetown University. I have experience babysitting and working with youth organziations like Teach for America, Girl Scouts of the USA, and DCPS. I'm a very proud big sister, big cousin, and I'm passionate about education policy. I also speak French and some Arabic, and I find children are often the best tutors so I'm more than happy to speak any language with them. Another fun fact about myself is that I'm going to join the Peace Corps in Kosovo in February of 2027. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'd describe my personality as easygoing, loyal, and kind! I like working with kids because the world is so much more kind and exciting through their eyes. They remind us how beautiful life can be, and they always put a smile on my face! In my spare time, I like to read, bake, and spend time with friends!
