About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I've been in childcare for 14yrs. Starting off with teaching, I chose to become a career nanny for the past decade. I believe it is my job to help children feel safe and loved. I pride myself in providing a fun, explorative, and educational environment for them. Through outdoor play, educational activities, and exploring the city, I help children learn about themselves and their environment. Seeing children develop the skills they need to thrive is a joy! As a former educator, early childhood education and positive parenting are a big part of what I offer. This includes teaching a variety of skills from colors and ABCs, to reading and writing, to emotional intelligence, confidence, and conflict resolution. I'm currently looking for my next full time position and would describe myself as someone who values integrity, reliability, and communication.
