About Katie

I've been a camp counselor, swim instructor, and babysitter throughout the past 6 years. I firmly believe that working with children is a two way street; as a caregiver I nurture and be a role model, but I firmly believe that we as adults have so, so much to learn from young minds. I approach this work with patience, creativity, and compassion. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and I'm happy to provide verbal updates or communicate via text or phone, depending on your preference. I'm also willing to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision or lessons if needed. I hold current First Aid Training and CPR Training certifications and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I am comfortable caring for up to 4 children at a time. I strive to create a safe and stimulating space where your child feels comfortable and happy. I would love to connect and offer my skills to your family :)
