About Katie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, Special Education, and essential study skills for elementary and adult learners. I hold a certification in Individualized Education Programs (IEP), which allows me to provide tailored support for diverse learning needs. I believe in fostering a love for learning by breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrating every milestone. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my strategies--from visual aids to real-world applications--to suit your unique style. Open communication with you and your family remains my priority to ensure we stay aligned on your goals. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a challenging concept finally clicks for a student. I truly look forward to growing alongside you.
