Hi! I'm Katie - thanks for stopping by! I'm a dedicated childcare provider with a Master's degree in Social Work and years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I have a deep passion for creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive. My background includes working as a special education paraprofessional, where I developed strong skills in patience, empathy, and adaptability. I also completed an internship supporting children who experienced domestic violence, which gave me a deep understanding of trauma-informed care. In addition, I've led YMCA summer programs for large groups, taught swim lessons, and worked as a pre-K Sunday school teacher. And if you have pets? Even better! I've had two pitbulls of my own and have been around dogs my entire life - furry friends are always welcome.
