About Katie

Growing up I had three younger siblings that I helped take care of which contributed to my interest in caring for other children. We have a family black lab named Linkin! My current work is with Homeless children, I have worked with them for four years as an infant/toddler teacher. I recently completed a certificate program through Lesley University, Child Homelessness Studies. Through out college I babysat and was a nanny. Responsibilities involved caring for the children, meal preparations, transportation, light house cleaning and errands. I have cared for children after school, all day, and over nights. I enjoy being outside and active, and also have a lot of creativity with arts and crafts. I have a bachelors degree from UMass Boston in human services with a focus in family and children.
