About Katie

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic, passionate. I like working with kids because it can often not feel like a job. When the respect is mutual between a child and adult it becomes such a positive environment it's easy for both parties to feel comfortable with one another. In a job I look for consistency and flexibility to maintain a positive, productive, and sustainable environment. I started working with kids at 14, I started out assisting dance classes, where I was then offered a lead teaching position. In my spare time, I like to bake, watch movies and walking my dogs One thing you should know about me is I commit to things. Once I'm committed to something I'm passionate about, I work until the responsibilities are met. There is nothing harder than shaping a child's young mind and helping them to learn how to handle their emotions and conflicts, and shouldn't be taken lightly.
