Hi there! My name is Katherine, and caring for children has always been close to my heart. I grew up in Texas City and began my journey in child care right out of high school, working for Parks and Recreation and in a preschool while attending college. I loved being a part of children's early development and creating fun, safe spaces where they could grow and thrive. Like many, the pandemic shifted my path, and I spent a few years in the service industry. But when my fiancé and I moved to Austin in 2023, I knew it was time to return to what I love most-working with children. I joined the University of Texas Child Development Center, where I continue to learn, grow, and bring joy into the classroom every day. I'm looking to connect with families who value high-quality care and a happy, engaging environment for their little ones. I bring warmth, creativity, and a whole lot of heart to every family I work with!
