About Kathy

Dear Family, Before raising and homeschooling my six now adult children, I was first a live-in nanny for two different families over the course of five years, followed by a short career in teaching at a Catholic school in Alaska where I taught kindergarten in the morning and Junior High reading and writing in the afternoon. I am certified to teach Montessori to children between ages 3 and 5, and hold a college degree from Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. My faith is important to me, and I would love to work with a family who shares Christian values. I have a special place in my heart for infants and toddlers, but also also very much enjoy teaching and tutoring older children. As well, It would be a joy for me to assist in the care of pets, farm animals, gardening, and, of course, am readily available for any housekeeping, laundry, and cooking.
