About Kathy

Hello my name is Kathy, I have also been called the "baby whisperer." I truly enjoy spending time with children and have over 20 years in childcare experience. With a nurturing spirit I can take a upset child and calm them down. It all began in College while getting my degree in Education. I'm a Mother of 4 adult children, before becoming a Mother I was a Kindergarten teacher. Having a background in Early Childhood has given me the tools to adapt to many different situations because children can be unpredictable and each child is unique. Safety is also important when taking care of children, which is why I stay current with my First aid and CPR training. It is important to foster a child's development. Part of being a nanny is to provide those kinds of experiences. As a former teacher I love to think of fun activities or have age appropriate experiences to support that growth.
