About Kathy

As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, I'm passionate about fostering a love of learning. For two years, I've helped students in elementary and middle school excel in subjects like math, English, science, and history. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. By varying my teaching strategies, I assess each student's individual learning style. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am comfortable with pets and available to tutor at a center, online, or at a coffee shop.
