I have a Bachelors from Eastern Michigan University in Music and Arts Management. For the majority of my time in school I was studying K-12 Music Education, so I have a deep love for working with children of all ages! I have 12 years of experience working in childcare across various settings- as a before/after school nanny, an early childhood teacher in a daycare setting, and in most recent years working with infants/young toddlers in the home. I am currently most interested in working with children ages 3 months to 3 years. I am looking for either a full time position, or the same split between two part time families. Katy has been the best nanny for our son! She started when he was 11 months and he is now almost 18 months. Katy is caring, creative, professional, and so easy to work with. Our son has learned so much from her, and she shows genuine interest in his care and development. Katy always has great ideas for activities and outings, and she goes above and beyond in her care. She has also been so patient with our anxious dog. We cannot recommend Katy enough!
