Hello! I'm Katy, a nurturing and experienced childcare provider with a heart for fostering children's growth and joy. As a mother of three and a former nanny, I'm adept at bringing patience, adaptability, and personalized care to every role. After two years as a 911 Dispatcher, I'm excited to return to my passion for childcare, where I believe children are our greatest teachers and a gift to the world. My background includes a combination of nanny work to include an infant and also a special needs child as well as two years as a Chef and Culinary Teacher at a Reggio Emilia outdoor private school, where I honed my skills in healthy meal preparation, child-led learning, and creating engaging environments. I love connecting with children on their level. My approach emphasizes child-led play, outdoor adventures, and creative activities that spark curiosity and confidence. I love animals too so I welcome homes with pets. I have my own vehicle and can transport if needed.
