Hello! I'm Katy, I'm a nurturing, organized, communicative and responsible caregiver. I am seeking a long term position where I can be an important part of a family. As a mother of three and a former nanny, I'm adept at bringing patience, adaptability, and personalized care to every role. After two years as a 911 Dispatcher, I'm excited to return to my passion for childcare, where I believe children are our greatest teachers and a gift to the world. My background includes a combination of nanny work to include an infant and also a special needs child as well as two years as a Chef and Culinary Teacher at a private school in Austin. My approach emphasizes child-led play, outdoor adventures, and creative activities that spark curiosity and confidence, such as sensory play and art. I love connecting with children on their level. I welcome homes with pets and I have my own vehicle. I am Christian, it would be a bonus to work with a family that has similar beliefs and values!
