About Kathryn

I'm looking for a job where I can help make a family's life happier and easier! I'd describe my personality as bright, encouraging, and compassionate. I have worked with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents in various childcare environments, most recently providing care to kids ages 4-14 as a Mental Health Specialist at McLean-Franciscan Children's CBAT Program in Brighton. I like working with kids because I learn as much from them as they learn from me. I love encouraging their curiosity as they grow and cheering them on through each milestone. It's heartwarming to be a part of building a fellow human being's foundation. I love creating projects for kids that encourage them to express themselves and build self-confidence. Cultivating a child's sense of creativity is vital and I'm always excited to be a part of that journey. My skills include creating a safe environment for kids to thrive, encouraging strong core values, and having lots of patience.
