About Kathryn

I am a former social worker, with a MSW. I have supported children and their families in various capacities for over 20 years. I started babysitting and volunteering at my church as a tween. As a social worker, I worked with children and families as a Family Advocate and a Crisis Interventionalist. I've volunteered with Reading Partners, teaching children how to read. I have served as a children's ministry director for over a decade. Professionally, I own and operate a children's literacy business and I'm a credentialed Montessori educator, teaching 0-6-year-olds for 15+ years. I hold a Texas Childcare Director License, a City of Arlington Childcare Worker's Permit, current CPR, First aid, Shaken Baby, SIDS, and child abuse trainings. When I'm not working with kids, I enjoy a good movie, good food, and a good nap (lol). I feel my best when I get to enjoy nature and spend time with my husband, family, and friends.
