I have cared for children from newborns through teens. I love children and I am a hands on caretaker. I enjoy spending time teaching, playing and exploring life with my charges. I do not advocate placing them in front of a TV, instead I choose to use books, art, puzzles, walks, the park and other stimuli to teach awareness of their world, help develop self-esteem, encourage independent play and have a good time. I have watched families of 1-5 children at a time. Since 2000 I have watched 50+ children from 25 families. This represents 7 full time positions, 15 part time and 7 date night only families. If you are looking for a granny type who will love your child in your absence, then I am your choice. I am also fully vaccinated for covid. I am currently looking for 20 to 30 hrs a week, long term if possible.

Kathy has been such a wonderful nanny to our 3 year old. He got so excited to see Kathy and loved to play with her the whole day. Kathy would engage him and teach him so many wonderful things. She would take extra steps to get him books and read with him. We were so grateful to have Kathy as a nanny for our son.
