About Alexa

Hi! My name is Alexa, and I'm a 24-year-old Certified Childhood Teacher with a passion for supporting children and their growth. I've been working with kids since I was 16, when I first started babysitting and I've been lucky enough to work with many families ever since! Most recently, I spent two years as a special education teacher at a developmental preschool, an experience that truly deepened my love for education and individual support. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as I continue my commitment to helping children thrive in all aspects of their lives. In my free time, you can find me baking (I especially love making homemade breads!), cuddling with my sweet pup Milo, getting lost in a good book, or spending quality time with my family. I'm caring, patient, and love bringing joy, creativity, and structure to the lives of the children I work with. I would be honored to be a supportive and reliable presence in your family's life!
