Experience: 7 yrs
I'm a Montessori infant teacher with a passion for nature and art. I have taken the RIE foundations course, have a Masters in Education, and an AMI Assistants to Infancy diploma (Montessori for 0-3). I am fully vaccinated (including covid19) I love working with children, helping them to learn and gain independence. I have many years of experience working as a nanny and still have very close relationships with the families I have worked for. I've taught in preschool classrooms, worked as a lead in an infant program, and cared for many newborns while working as a postpartum doula. I think that time spent in nature is extremely important for children, as is exposure to great books from an early age. I believe that young children do best when given lots of freedom to play and firm yet gentle limits.
Kathryn is reliable, knowledgeable, thoughtful and best of all, very engaging with our baby girl. She helped us out temporarily for a few weeks and instantly made us all feel very comfortable. We will definitely be contacting her again in the future.
