Hi, my name is Kate and I want to be a Nurse. Infection control is my main goal with any client. I wear masks to work everyday and wash my hands constantly to prevent cross contamination. I completed my CNA in 2018 from the College of Lake County. I have been caring for residents and private clients for over 3 years professionally since I earned my certified nursing assistant certification. I know how to use a full body lift (Hoyer) I can feed, bath, transfer, do range of motion exercises, I can change a Foley catheter, I can shave a face, trim nails safely without causing ingrown toenails, as well as many other state regulated skills that we learn in the CNA certification program. I am friendly, professional, and always willing to learn a new skill that a client needs. Covid vaccinated April 2021.
