About Kathleen

My name is Kate and I am a junior at the University of Utah studying biology on the pre-med track! I have my Certified Nursing Assistant license and am CPR certified. I have experience caring for children of all ages and love to do crafts, play board games, play sports, and more. On top of my normal childcare experience, I have experience caring for kids with special needs as a special education intern in high school and experience watching a young adult with Down Syndrome. I also love pets! I would describe myself as outgoing, outdoorsy, and flexible. I have previously worked as a Medical Assistant in a Pediatric doctor's office for 3 years, and currently work in clinical research at Primary Children's hospital in the emergency department, which has exposed me to so many different kinds of kids and I have learned a lot! I also spent last summer nannying full time for a family with two kids.
